VOICE OVER
What is a Corporate Voice-Over?
Corporate voice overs are narrations for:
- Internal/External Presentations
- Staff Training
- Onboarding Videos When Recruiting
- Internet Videos and How to Videos
- Product Information and Tutorials
So when you’re choosing a voice how do you start?
Firstly you could record it yourself. All you’ll need is good recording equipment, a quiet treated room with no nasty echo, and to be able to deliver the script professionally and amicably.
If you haven’t got experience in recording voices or just don’t feel your voice is up to the job then hiring a corporate voice over artist might be a much more cost effective and safer approach, after all it is your brand that is being represented.
But before you can do this you need a script. One that connects with your audience, isn’t too long (stick to 150 words for every minute of video you record), and is ideally less than 3 minutes. The script should explain your product or service, your experience, and why you’re the right company to solve the problem for your clients.
If you’re stuck for ideas, have a listen to our corporate voice overs. These should give you a good general idea on how to get started on your script.
Once you’ve written your script and finalised it, you’ll want to make sure it’s delivered correctly. It needs to be spoken at the right pace, recorded with good quality, and engaging enough to keep your audience interested. Finally you’ll need to choose the right music track to put on top. All of this combined will help build your brand image to entice new clients and customers to take you up on your services.
